On Wanderlust and Vacation Simulations
Last week, I asked if anyone was feeling loads of wanderlust while we’re stuck at home social distancing? The response was in the affirmative, from planned trips that had to be canceled to plain old wanderlust. Everyone just wants to travel.
I’m no different in fact, my wanderlust has gotten worse. I’m actively looking up hotels and villas, spending hours poring through Condé Nast Traveller Luxury Guides. So I thought why not share it with you.
Before, we talk about all the places I want to go, I simulated a vacation in my backyard and sat in the sun, read a collection of verses and took a dip in the pool. Why not vacay, even in isolation?
Wanderlust Diaries
Marrakech, Morocco.
One of the first places I wanna go, is Marrakech. This city is filled with so much history, culture and amazing food and Amanjena Hotels, Marrakech would be the highlight of my Marrakech experience. A luxury, wellness resort, Amanjena is everything!
Tuscany, Italy
Another dream vacation location is Tuscany. Blame this on Gone With The Wind. Tuscany, speaks of romance and wine and relaxation and Hotel Monteverdi just enhances that. Set on a hilltop and surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, this isn’t just a hotel, it’s part of a village. Ughh I can go on and on.
Positano, Amalfi Coast
Next we head to, Positano on the Amalfi Coast. I figured we’d stay in Italy for a bit and enjoy the coast line and enjoy a meal of the days catch from A Paranza. Laze by the beach and swim in the ocean(again, I already have that crossed off my bucket list). The perfect holiday!
Provence, South of France
Finally our wanderlust brings us to the South of France. Specifically, Provence and stay at the Hotel Crillon Le Brave (wayyy out of my tax bracket). A charming boutique hotel set in 8 restored stone houses connected by bridges, alleys and courtyards.
Do you have a travel bucket list, a list of places you want to visit, things you want to do there, foods you want to try? Share them with me in the comments, I’d like to read them and perhaps add them to my list.
P.S: You can read all my microblog entries here, here and here.
