What’s in my Makeup Bag- Hegai and Esther Cosmetics Review
This is the first time I’m doing this kind of post and I’m really pumped because I happened upon this cosmetics brand by chance and more so because it’s a Nigerian brand, I’m excited to review this.
The products I’m reviewing are the newest members of my makeup bag and so this is like a welcome party for them. I’m only reviewing two products because I wanted to test the waters before I add any more of the brand to my makeup family.
The two products are the Hegai and Esther Flash Pan (Highlight- Bronze) in the shade Warm and the Hegai and Esther Duo Cover Photo Perfect Foundation ( that’s a long name) in the shade Bronze .
First off the Flash Pan, I really like the packaging of this highlight and bronzer palette and that it contains at least three highlight colors and one bronzer.
My favorite highlight color is the rose gold/ mauve-y ( at least that’s what I think that shade is ) color. It just gives such a holographic effect at least on my skin that is. It’s a color I would use again and again. Bottom line the Flash Pan was a good buy.
Next is the duo cover foundation ( I can’t come and kill my self with that name) in the shade Bronze.
I chose that shade because it brought out the red undertones in my skin. To the consistency and finish of the foundation, it’ll be interesting to note that it’s a Matte finish foundation and truth be told that foundation is matte. When applied it almost has like a powder finish, I mean it’s so smooth and lightweight it’s like barely having nothing on.
It is a medium coverage foundation but you can build it up to full coverage if you so choose.
I absolutely love these two products and I think I’m going to stick with them. If you know any cosmetics brand (preferably Nigerian) I should try out let me know.
You can find out where to buy these products on their Instagram page @hegaiandesther. If you have tried any of their products let me know what you think about them in the comments section.
I can’t wait to try more Hegai and Esther products and share them with you.

You should try out their brow gel….
I used to not like it.. But it’s my go to when I don’t really like my brows too dark. I got a shade in Nubia.
Maybe when I get my correct shade, which should be brownie then I may be able to tell the matteness of the product. Great review dear.
