Another one!!!! Yes this is another foundation review. This time I will be reviewing the Revolution PRO Full Cover Camouflage Foundation. For the sake of brevity we will call it the Revolution  Pro foundation.

Two or three months ago TAM Beauty the creators of Makeup Revolution, I Heart Makeup, Freedom Makeup and Obsession UK underwent an upheaval and brand update. TAM Beauty is now Revolution Beauty and are the umbrella for Makeup Revolution, I Heart Revolution, Obsession and the new Revolution PRO which replaced Freedom.

Revolution Pro is an affordable makeup brand for professional makeup artists. With its launch a bunch of new products were launched. Two foundations, a concealer and different eyeshadow palettes. This review is on one of the foundations.

Revolution Pro Foundation Review

This foundation is pretty affordable as it sells for £7.oo which in Naira is 34oo. You can purchase it from the Revolution Beauty Website as they ship to Nigeria. I do have to warn though that there is a tax payment you may pay here in Nigeria.

It claims to be a full coverage,  matte foundation. I tested the foundation live on Instagram. This foundation is 25ml and that makes sense because it has a pretty thick consistency. It is also incredibly full coverage as it claims and two pumps should fully cover the face.

I got the foundation in the shade F14 and as far as shade matches go, it’s pretty good. I swatched it in comparison to two of my other foundations.

As to the application of this foundation, either with a sponge or brush, this foundation is full coverage.

Revolution Pro Foundation Wear Test.

I conducted a 7 hour wear test of the foundation. This was to see how well it controls oils and how good it wears throughout the day.

I set only one side of my face with a powder and the other left alone. Below is how it looked when it was first applied. The finish of this is amazing. I don’t think i’ve ever had foundation look this good.

My next check in was at three hours after application. I was a little disappointed as my oils had started to peek through.

My final check in was at the 7 hour mark and I was pretty oily. It was tough to go out and about without touching up with powder.

 Final Thoughts:

Affordable, Lightweight, very little creasing. However, not very oil controlling, nothing a little blotting powder can’t fix.
